The 20KPA120CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse Inc., designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 20kW (10/1000μs waveform) and a reverse standoff voltage of 120V. The device features a minimum breakdown voltage of 133V at 5mA test current and a maximum clamping voltage of 194V at 104.1A peak pulse current.
This TVS diode is housed in a P600 axial leaded package with through-hole mounting, making it suitable for robust industrial and telecom applications. It has a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and fast response time typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C, with steady state power dissipation of 8W on infinite heat sink.
The 20KPA120CA is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). It is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.
The peak pulse power dissipation is 20kW (20000W) for a 10/1000μs waveform, non-repetitive.
The reverse standoff voltage (VR) is 120V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 194V at the peak pulse current.
It comes in a P600 axial leaded package for through-hole mounting.
Yes, it is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free.
