The 20ETS12S is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Vishay Dale's 20ETS...S High Voltage Series. It is designed for input rectification applications and features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1200V and an average forward current of 20A. The forward voltage is typically 1.1V at 20A, and the device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of up to 300A.
This diode uses glass passivation technology for reliable operation up to a junction temperature of 150°C. It is housed in a surface-mount TO-263AB (D²PAK) package, which is suitable for automated assembly processes. The device is designed for industrial-level applications and is optimized for low forward voltage drop with moderate leakage.
Typical applications include use in single-phase and three-phase bridge rectifiers with capacitive input filters. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C.
