The 20ETF10S is a fast soft recovery rectifier diode from Vishay's 20ETF..S Soft Recovery Series, designed for industrial-level applications. It delivers an average rectified current of 20 A with a maximum reverse voltage of 1000 V.
Key electrical characteristics include a forward voltage drop of 1.31 V at 20 A and 25 °C, a reverse recovery time of 400 ns, and a non-repetitive peak surge current rating of 355 A. The device is glass passivated for stable and reliable operation under severe temperature and power cycling conditions.
The 20ETF10S is housed in a TO-263-3 (D2PAK) surface mount package with a common cathode configuration. It operates over a junction temperature range of -40 °C to 150 °C and has a thermal resistance of 0.9 °C/W junction-to-case. This diode is suitable for output rectification and freewheeling in inverters, choppers, and converters.
The maximum average rectified current is 20 A at a case temperature of 97 °C with 180° conduction half sine wave.
The maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) is 1000 V.
The forward voltage drop is 1.31 V at a forward current of 20 A and a junction temperature of 25 °C.
The reverse recovery time is 400 ns at IF=20 A, 25 A/µs, and 25 °C.
