The Bourns 2056-09-B2LF is a 3-electrode gas discharge tube (GDT) from the 2056 Series, designed for light duty surge protection. It features a DC sparkover voltage of 90 V with ±20% tolerance, and an impulse discharge current rating of 5 kA (8/20 μs). The device offers low capacitance of less than 2 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection. Impulse sparkover voltages are less than 750 V at 100 V/μs and less than 850 V at 1000 V/μs. The GDT is housed in an axial cylinder package with three radial leads, through hole mounting, and has a diameter of 6 mm and length of 8 mm. Operating temperature range is -30 °C to 85 °C. The part is marked as RoHS compliant and UL Recognized per the datasheet.
