The TE Connectivity 204520-2 is a 78-position high-density D-Sub receptacle designed for reliable signal connections in demanding environments. This connector features a steel shell with cadmium plating, providing robust mechanical protection. The insulator is made from a one-piece thermoplastic insert, and the contacts are gold-plated for reliable low-level signal performance.
The receptacle uses a keystone polarization design to ensure correct mating alignment. It is designed in accordance with MIL-C-24308 military standard.
