The Bourns 2031-15T-SMLF is a miniature 2-pole gas discharge tube (GDT) from the 2031-xxT-SM series. It provides overvoltage protection with a minimum DC sparkover voltage of 60 V and a typical initial DC sparkover of 150 V at 100 V/s. The maximum impulse sparkover is 500 V at 5 kV, 1.2/50 μs.

 

This GDT is rated for an impulse discharge current of 1 kA (8/20 μs) for 2 operations and 100 A (10/1000 μs) for 50 operations. Key electrical characteristics include an insulation resistance greater than 1 GΩ at 50/100 V and capacitance less than 1 pF at 1 MHz. The glow voltage is approximately 70 V at 10 mA, and the arc voltage is approximately 10 V above 1 A.

 

The device is surface-mountable in a 2-SMD cylinder square end package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. It is designed for use with TBU devices and is RoHS compliant.
