The Bourns 2027-35-BT1LF is a 2-pole gas discharge tube (GDT) designed for overvoltage protection in telecommunications and industrial equipment. It features a DC sparkover voltage of 350 V with ±15% tolerance, and an impulse sparkover of 600 V at 100 V/μs and 875 V at 1000 V/μs.
This GDT can handle impulse discharge currents up to 10 kA (8/20 μs waveform, 10 operations) and a maximum of 25 kA for a single operation. It also supports an alternating discharge current of 65 Arms. The device has very low capacitance (<1 pF) and high insulation resistance (>10^10 Ω), making it suitable for high-speed signal lines.
