The 1V5KE51A is a unidirectional TVS (transient voltage suppression) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 43.6V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 48.45V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 70.1V at 21.4A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (1.5kW), this device is suitable for general-purpose surge protection applications.
The diode is mounted in a through-hole DO-201AD axial package and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +175°C. It does not include power line protection, making it ideal for unidirectional transient suppression in low-voltage DC circuits and signal lines.
