The 1SMC58AT3G is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed for general-purpose circuit protection. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) and a reverse standoff voltage of 58V. The device clamps transient overvoltages at a maximum of 93.6V while conducting a peak pulse current of 16A.
The minimum breakdown voltage is 64.4V, ensuring reliable triggering. The diode is not intended for power line protection and is suitable for low-voltage signal and DC rail protection. It operates over a wide junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
