The 1SMC24AT3 is a 1500W peak power Zener transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from ON Semiconductor, designed to protect sensitive electronic components from high voltage transients. It offers unidirectional protection with a working peak reverse voltage of 24V and a maximum clamp voltage of 38.9V at a peak pulse current of 38.6A. The device features an ESD rating exceeding 16 kV (Human Body Model, Class 3) and a typical response time of less than 1 ns.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package with L-bend leads, suitable for automated assembly. It supports an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is available in tape and reel packaging (2500 pieces).
