The 1SMB6.0AT3G is a 600W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed by On Semiconductor for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 6V and a clamping voltage of 10.3V, capable of handling peak pulse currents up to 58.3A. The device is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly processes.
This TVS diode provides protection against voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge. With a capacitance of 2300pF at 1MHz, it is well-suited for lower-speed signal lines and power supply rails where fast transient suppression is required.
