The 1SMB6.0AT3 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from ON Semiconductor, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from high-voltage transients and ESD events. It is part of the 1SMB5.0AT3G series known for 600W peak pulse power capability.
With a working peak reverse voltage of 6V, it provides a clamping voltage of 10.3V at peak pulse current. The device can handle up to 600W of peak pulse power (1ms pulse width) and offers an ESD rating of >16 kV per Human Body Model (Class 3). Response time is typically less than 1.0 ns.
Ideal for use in communication systems, automotive electronics, power supplies, and industrial controls, this TVS diode features low leakage and high surge capability. It is qualified for the AEC-Q101 standard (SZ prefix variant) and is UL 497B recognized for isolated loop circuit protection.
The device is housed in a surface mount SMB (DO-214AA) package with modified L-bend leads for improved solderability. It is designed for maximum soldering temperature of 260°C for 10 seconds and is RoHS compliant (Pb-Free packages available).
