The 1SMB5948BT3G is a 91V Zener diode from the 1SMB59xxBT3G series of 3W plastic surface mount Zener voltage regulators from On Semiconductor. It features a Zener voltage tolerance of ±5% and a maximum impedance of 200Ω at the test current. The device can dissipate up to 3W when the lead temperature is held at 75°C, with a derating factor of 40 mW/°C above that temperature.
This Zener diode is designed for voltage regulation and protection applications. It has an ESD rating of Class 3 (>16 kV) per Human Body Model, enhancing robustness. The forward voltage is 1.5V at 200mA, and reverse leakage current is 1µA at 69.2V. The operating temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C.
The device is housed in a surface mount SMB (DO-214AA) package with a modified L-bend lead style, providing good contact area for soldering. The package is UL 94 V-0 rated for flammability. It is available in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 2,500 pieces per reel.
