The 1SMB170AT3G is a 600W peak power Zener transient voltage suppressor from Littelfuse, designed to protect voltage-sensitive components from high voltage, high energy transients. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 170V, a breakdown voltage of 199V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 275V at a peak pulse current of 2.2A.
This unidirectional device offers fast response time of less than 1 ns and an ESD rating of Class 3 (>16 kV) per Human Body Model. It is supplied in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with corrosion-resistant, readily solderable leads and cathode polarity band marking.
