The 1SMA5933BT3G is a 22V Zener diode from ON Semiconductor, part of the 1SMA59xxBT3G series of 1.5W surface mount Zener voltage regulators. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 22V with ±5% tolerance and a Zener impedance of 17.5Ω. Reverse leakage current is 500nA at 16.7V, and forward voltage is 1.2V at 200mA. The diode is rated for ESD protection exceeding 16kV per Human Body Model (Class 3).
Power dissipation is 1.5W at a lead temperature of 75°C, derating at 20mW/°C above that, and 0.5W at ambient temperature of 25°C with 4.0mW/°C derating. Thermal resistance from junction to lead is 50°C/W and from junction to ambient is 250°C/W. The device operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and can withstand soldering at 260°C for 10 seconds.
The diode is housed in a void-free, transfer-molded plastic DO-214AC (SMA) package with a flat handling surface for accurate placement. Polarity is indicated by a cathode band. The package is UL 94 V-0 rated at 0.125 inches. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 5,000 units per reel. The device is Pb-Free according to the datasheet, though RoHS and REACH compliance data are unverified.
The zener voltage is 22V with ±5% tolerance.
The forward voltage is 1.2V at 200mA.
