The 1SMA5928BT3 is a 13V Zener diode from onsemi in a surface mount SMA package. It features a nominal zener voltage of 13V with ±5% tolerance and a maximum impedance of 7Ω at the test current. Power dissipation is rated at 1.5W when the lead temperature is 75°C (derate 20mW/°C above 75°C) and 0.5W at an ambient temperature of 25°C (derate 4mW/°C above 25°C). The device offers a forward voltage of 1.5V at 200mA and a reverse leakage current of 500nA at 9.9V. It operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and has an ESD rating of >16 kV per Human Body Model (Class 3). Thermal resistance is 50°C/W junction-to-lead and 250°C/W junction-to-ambient. The package is a void-free, transfer-molded plastic case (DO-214AC) with corrosion-resistant leads, suitable for surface mount assembly. The flammability rating is UL 94 V-0. This diode is ideal for voltage regulation, overvoltage protection, and voltage reference applications.
