The MSC 1N937 is a popular 9.0 Volt Temperature Compensated Zener Reference Diode from the 1N935 thru 1N940B series. It provides a stable 9.0V nominal voltage with a tight tolerance and a temperature coefficient as low as 0.0002%/°C when operated at 7.5 mA. This minimal voltage change over a broad temperature range makes it suitable for instrumentation and other circuit designs requiring a stable voltage reference.
The diode is housed in a hermetically sealed glass case with DO-7 (DO-204AA) package and features flexible axial-leaded mounting terminals. The operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to +175°C. Maximum DC power dissipation is 500 mW @ 25°C. RoHS compliant devices are available with an 'e3' suffix.
This series also offers military qualifications including JAN, JANTX, and JANTXV levels, as well as radiation-hardened options. The terminals are plated with tin-lead (military) or RoHS Compliant annealed matte-Tin.
