The 1N6377 is a Mosorb unidirectional Zener transient voltage suppressor designed to protect voltage-sensitive components from high-voltage, high-energy transients. It is manufactured by ON Semiconductor in their cost-effective, reliable Surmetic axial leaded package.
This device offers a 1500W peak power dissipation capability at 1ms, with a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a maximum clamping voltage of 25V at peak pulse current. It features an ESD rating of Class 3 (>16 kV) per Human Body Model and a typical response time of less than 1 ns. The device has low leakage current: less than 5 µA above 10V.
The 1N6377 is mounted through hole in a DO-201AD, axial leaded package. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C. The cathode is indicated by a polarity band. This part is suitable for general purpose applications including communication systems, power supplies, industrial controls, medical equipment, and business machines.
The reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) is 15 V.
The maximum clamping voltage at peak pulse current is 25 V.
The peak power dissipation is 1500 W.
The device is in a DO-201AD, axial leaded package.
RoHS status is listed as compliant but unverified. The datasheet mentions Pb-Free packages are available.
