The 1N6367 is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Microchip Technology, belonging to the 1N6358-1N6372 JEDEC registered series. It features a 12V reverse standoff voltage (VWM) and a low clamping voltage of 17.1V, providing a clamping factor of approximately 1.33 at full rated power. With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000 µs waveform) and a peak pulse current capability of 70A, it is designed to protect sensitive circuits from inductive switching transients, ESD, and secondary lightning effects per IEC61000-4-5.
This device uses a hermetically sealed DO-13 (DO-202AA) metal package for through-hole mounting. It operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 175°C (junction temperature). The bidirectional construction allows it to clamp both positive and negative transients, making it suitable for general-purpose circuit protection in avionics, industrial, and consumer electronics applications.
