The 1N6364 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Microchip Technology, part of the 1N6358-1N6372 series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive switching, and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
This device features a working voltage (VWM) of 45V and a clamping voltage (VC) of 70V at a peak pulse current (IPP) of 19A. It can handle 1500W of peak pulse power (10/1000µs waveform) with a low clamping factor of 1.33 at full rated power. The response time is less than 100 picoseconds for unidirectional operation, making it suitable for fast transient protection.
The 1N6364 is housed in a hermetically sealed DO-13 (DO-202AA) metal package for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C and has a thermal resistance of 50°C/W from junction to lead. The device is RoHS compliant and can be used in general-purpose applications including avionics, industrial, and communication systems.
The working voltage (VWM) is 45V.
The clamping voltage (VC) is 70V.
The peak pulse power (PPP) is 1500W.
The 1N6364 is available in a DO-13 (DO-202AA) through-hole package.
