The 1N5955BRLG is a 180V Zener diode from On Semiconductor's Surmetic 30 series. It offers a nominal Zener voltage of 180V with ±5% tolerance, and is rated for 3W power dissipation at lead temperature 75°C (derate 24mW/°C above 75°C) or 1W at ambient 50°C. The device features a maximum Zener impedance of 900Ω at IZT, reverse leakage current of 1µA at 136.8V, and forward voltage of 1.5V at 200mA. It has an ESD rating of >16kV (Human Body Model, Class 3) and surge rating of 98W at 1ms. The diode is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial lead plastic package, with cathode indicated by polarity band. It is suitable for voltage regulation applications requiring high power handling in a compact through-hole package. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 200°C. Lead finish is corrosion resistant and readily solderable, with maximum soldering temperature 260°C for 10 seconds.
