The 1N5942BRLG is a Zener voltage regulator diode from the 1N59xxB series manufactured by onsemi. It provides a nominal Zener voltage of 51V with ±5% tolerance and a maximum power dissipation of 3W at a lead temperature of 75°C (derated at 24 mW/°C above 75°C). The device features a maximum Zener impedance of 70 Ω and a forward voltage of 1.5V @ 200mA. Reverse leakage current is 1 µA at 38.8V.
The diode is housed in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial lead, transfer-molded plastic package suitable for through-hole mounting. It has an operating temperature range of -65°C to +200°C and a maximum lead soldering temperature of 260°C for 10 seconds. The part is rated for ESD Class 3 (>16 kV) per Human Body Model and can handle surge power up to 98 W for 1 ms.
