The 1N5934BRNG is a 24V Zener voltage regulator diode from ON Semiconductor, part of the 1N59xxBRNG series. It features a silicon-oxide passivated junction for excellent operating characteristics and reliability. The device is housed in a void-free, transfer-molded thermosetting plastic axial-lead package (DO-204AL/DO-41) and is Pb-free.

Key electrical specifications include a nominal Zener voltage of 24V with ±5% tolerance, maximum power dissipation of 3W at lead temperature of 75°C (derate 24 mW/°C above 75°C) and 1W at ambient temperature of 50°C. Forward voltage is 1.5V maximum at 200mA, reverse leakage current is 1µA maximum at 18.2V, and Zener impedance is 19Ω maximum at IZT. The device offers an ESD rating of >16kV per Human Body Model (Class 3) and a surge power rating of 98W at 1ms. Operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to 200°C. Maximum soldering temperature is 260°C for 10 seconds at 1/16" from the case.

This diode is suitable for voltage regulation, overvoltage protection, and reference voltage applications in power supplies, automotive electronics, and industrial equipment. The DO-41 package allows easy through-hole mounting and is compatible with standard assembly processes. The cathode is indicated by a polarity band.
