The 1N5822RL is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 40V and an average rectified forward current (Io) of 3A. The forward voltage (VF) is 525 mV at 3A, enabling low power loss and high efficiency in low-voltage applications.
This diode features fast recovery speed (≤500ns, >200mA) and a high non-repetitive peak surge current (IFSM) of 80A. It is designed for use in low-voltage high-frequency inverters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits. The junction temperature range is -65°C to +125°C, making it suitable for moderate temperature environments.
The device is housed in a DO-201AD axial leaded package with through-hole mounting. It is available in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 1500 units per reel, indicated by the RL suffix.
