The 1N5820 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode manufactured by Diotec Semiconductor. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 20V and a maximum average forward rectified current of 3A at 75°C lead temperature. The low forward voltage drop of 0.85V at 9.4A enhances efficiency in rectification and freewheeling applications.
Designed for commercial and industrial grade use, this diode can handle peak forward surge currents up to 150A (50 Hz) and has a junction capacitance of 80pF. The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to 150°C, with storage capability up to 175°C.
Packaged in a DO-201 (DO-201AA, DO-27) axial-lead through-hole case, the component is supplied in ammo pack with 1700 pieces per standard package. The case material is UL 94V-0 rated, and solder conditions are 260°C for 10 seconds.
