The 1N5820 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for low voltage, high frequency rectification applications. It has a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 20V and an average forward rectified current (IFAV) of 3A. The forward voltage drop is typically less than 0.85V at 9.4A, enabling efficient operation. The device can handle peak forward surge currents up to 165A (60 Hz) and has a junction capacitance of 80 pF at 4V.
This diode is housed in a DO-201AD axial lead package suitable for through-hole mounting. It is supplied taped in ammo packs with a standard quantity of 1700 pieces. The case material is UL 94V-0 rated. The junction temperature range is -50°C to +150°C, with a storage temperature range of -50°C to +175°C.
