The 1N5818 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from the 1N5817/1N5818/1N5819 series, designed for low-voltage, high-frequency applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage (VRRM) of 30V and an average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) of 1A. The forward voltage is typically 500mV at 1A, enabling low power loss and high efficiency. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 25A. This rectifier employs Schottky barrier technology with majority carrier conduction for fast switching (recovery ≤500ns at >200mA). It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +150°C and has a thermal resistance (junction-to-ambient) of 80°C/W. The component is housed in a through-hole DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial lead package, making it suitable for PCB mounting. The 1N5818 is ideal for use as a rectifier in low-voltage inverters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits.
The maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) is 30 V.
The average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) is 1 A.
The component is available in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial lead through-hole package.
The forward voltage (VF) is typically 500 mV at 1 A.
The datasheet indicates the device is Pb-Free.
