The 1N5552 is a standard recovery rectifier diode rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified current of 5A. It features a forward voltage of 1V at 3A and a reverse recovery time of 2µs. The device can handle a forward surge current of 100A (8.3ms half sine wave).
