| Working Peak Reverse Voltage |
The 1N5550 is a standard recovery rectifier diode rated for a working peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified forward current of 5A. It features a forward voltage of 1V at 3A and a reverse recovery time of 2 µs. The device is capable of handling a forward surge current of 100A and has a junction capacitance of 92 pF at 5V and 1MHz.
This diode is designed for through-hole mounting in an axial leaded package. It offers a junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C and a storage temperature range of -65°C to +175°C. The thermal resistance from junction to lead is 22°C/W and the thermal impedance is 1.5°C/W.
Typical applications include general purpose rectification, power supply circuits, and other high-reliability systems where standard recovery speed is acceptable.
