The 1N5416 is part of the 1N5415-1N5420 series of fast recovery rectifier diodes from Semtech. These devices feature voidless hermetically sealed glass construction, making them suitable for high-reliability applications.
Key electrical specifications include a working peak reverse voltage of 100V, average forward current of 3A at +55°C and 2A at +100°C, forward surge current capability of 80A, and a forward voltage drop of 1.1V at 3A. The reverse recovery time is 150ns, and the junction capacitance is 430pF at 4V and 1MHz.
Thermally, the device operates over a junction and storage temperature range of -65°C to +175°C, with a thermal resistance of 22°C/W from junction to lead.
