The 1N5406-E3/73 is a general purpose plastic rectifier diode from Vishay Dale, designed for use in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications. It offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.2V at 3A, low leakage current of 5µA, and high forward surge capability of 200A. The device is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 3A.
This diode is packaged in a DO-201AD axial case with through-hole mounting. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and terminals are matte tin plated leads, solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102.
