The 1N5404RLG is a standard recovery rectifier diode from On Semiconductor designed for general-purpose power supply and rectification applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified forward current of 3A. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 1V at 3A and a high non-repetitive peak surge current capability of 200A, making it suitable for applications with high inrush currents.
The rectifier is packaged in an axial-lead DO-201AA/DO-27 case with through-hole mounting. It has an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and a storage temperature range of -65°C to 175°C. The part is Pb-free and RoHS compliant, with a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). Typical applications include power supply rectification, DC bus rail protection, and other general-purpose rectification circuits.
