The 1N5404-E3/54 is a general purpose plastic rectifier diode from Vishay Dale, designed for standard recovery applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and a maximum average rectified current of 3A at a lead temperature of 105°C. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.2V at 3A and a high peak forward surge current capability of 200A, making it suitable for power supply and converter circuits.
This rectifier is housed in a DO-201AD molded epoxy body with axial leads for through-hole mounting. The package meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and the terminals are matte tin plated for solderability per J-STD-002. Polarity is indicated by a color band on the cathode end.
