| Working Peak Reverse Voltage |
The 1N5402G is a standard recovery rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, part of the 1N5400 series. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and a DC blocking voltage of 400V, with a non-repetitive peak reverse voltage of 525V. The device is rated for an average rectified forward current of 3.0A and can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 200A. Forward voltage is 1V at 3A. Reverse current is 10 µA at 25°C and 50 µA at 100°C.
The rectifier is housed in an epoxy-molded DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, weighing approximately 1.1g. It is designed for through-hole mounting with solderable leads. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, and storage temperature range is -65°C to 175°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 53°C/W with 1/2 inch leads on a PC board.
Typical applications include power supplies and other circuits requiring a high surge current capability and low forward voltage drop in a compact package. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant per the datasheet.
The peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) is 400V.
The average rectified forward current (IO) is 3.0A.
The forward voltage is 1V at 3A.
It comes in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package.
The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
The non-repetitive peak surge current (IFSM) is 200A.
