The 1N5394 is a general purpose rectifier diode from the 1N5391-1N5399 series, designed for 1.5 ampere operation at 70°C ambient with no thermal runaway. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 300V and a non-repetitive peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 50A. The forward voltage is 1.4V at 1.5A, and reverse leakage current is 5.0 µA at 25°C. Total capacitance is 25 pF at 4V and 1MHz. The device is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded package for through-hole mounting. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. Power dissipation is 4.8W with a thermal resistance junction-to-lead of 26°C/W. This diode is suitable for general purpose rectification and power supply applications.
