The 1N5357BRL is a 20V Zener diode from the 1N53 series, designed for 5W power dissipation in an axial lead, transfer-molded plastic package. It offers a nominal zener voltage of 20V with ±5% tolerance and a maximum zener impedance of 3Ω at the test current. The forward voltage is 1.2V maximum at 1A, and reverse leakage current is 500nA maximum at 15.2V.
This device is rated for continuous operation over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 200°C and can handle surge currents up to 180W for 8.3ms, making it suitable for harsh environments. It also features an ESD rating of Class 3 (>16 kV) per the Human Body Model, providing robust protection.
