The 1N5337BG is a 4.7V Zener voltage regulator diode from ON Semiconductor's 1N53 series. It is designed for 5W steady-state power dissipation at 25°C lead temperature, with a derating factor of 40 mW/°C above 25°C. The device features a maximum Zener impedance of 2 Ω at the test current and a reverse leakage current of 5 µA at 1V.
This Zener diode is housed in a T-18 axial lead plastic package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It offers an ESD rating of Class 3 (>16 kV) per the Human Body Model and a non-repetitive surge power rating of 180W at 8.3 ms. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 200°C, with a maximum lead temperature for soldering of 260°C for 10 seconds.
Typical applications include voltage regulation, overvoltage protection, and reference voltage generation in power supplies and industrial electronics. The device is available in Pb-free finish as indicated by the "G" suffix.
