The 1N5272BUR-1 is a 500 mW Zener diode from Microchip Technology, part of the 1N5221BUR-1 through 1N5281BUR-1 series. It provides a surface-mount equivalent of the popular JEDEC-registered 1N5272 axial-leaded device.
This device features a nominal zener voltage of 110 V with ±5% tolerance. Electrical characteristics include a reverse leakage current of 100 nA at 84 V and a forward voltage of 1.1 V at 200 mA. The operating junction temperature ranges from -65°C to 175°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 250 °C/W when mounted on FR4 PCB.
The diode is housed in a hermetically sealed DO-213AA (SOD80/MLL34 MELF) surface mount package with end cap terminations (tin-lead or matte-tin). It is suitable for voltage regulation and reference applications requiring stable performance over a broad temperature range.
