The 1N4937RL is a fast recovery rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for applications requiring high efficiency at frequencies up to 250 kHz. It is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward current of 1.0A. The device offers a fast reverse recovery time of 300ns maximum, making it suitable for use in DC power supplies, inverters, converters, and free-wheeling diode circuits.
This rectifier is housed in an axial-lead DO-204AL (DO-41) package with a through-hole mounting style. The package is epoxy molded, weighs approximately 0.4 grams, and has corrosion-resistant leads that are readily solderable. The cathode is indicated by a polarity band. The device is Pb-Free and can operate over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +150°C.
