The 1N4936RL is a fast recovery rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, part of the 1N493x series. It is designed for applications requiring high efficiency at frequencies up to 250 kHz, such as DC power supplies, inverters, converters, ultrasonic systems, choppers, and free-wheeling diodes.
Key electrical specifications include a peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 400V, an average rectified forward current (IO) of 1.0A, and a non-repetitive peak surge current (IFSM) of 30A. The forward voltage (VF) is 1.2V maximum at 1A, and the typical reverse recovery time (trr) is 150ns, with a maximum of 300ns.
The device is through-hole mounted in an axial-lead DO-204AL (DO-41) package. It has an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and a thermal resistance (junction-to-ambient) of 65°C/W. The case is epoxy molded with corrosion-resistant, readily solderable terminals. Polarity is indicated by a cathode band.
