The MUR260 is a general purpose fast recovery diode designed for rectifying currents up to 2A and handling voltages up to 600V. It features a fast recovery time of 50 ns, a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.25 V at 2A, and a reverse leakage current of 2.5 µA at 600V. The diode operates within a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
This diode is designed for axial through-hole mounting in a DO-204AC (DO-15) package. Its fast switching capabilities make it suitable for applications such as switching power supplies and high-frequency rectification. It is also useful in freewheeling and snubber circuits, as well as general-purpose rectification in consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.
Note that this part is marked as obsolete and may require consideration of alternative models for new designs. Additionally, it is not RoHS compliant, which should be a consideration for lead-free compliance requirements.
