1N4933-T

The 1N4933-T is a fast recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It is rated for an average rectified current of 1 A and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50 V. The forward voltage drop is 1.2 V at 1 A, and the reverse recovery time is 200 ns, making it suitable for high-speed switching applications. Additional electrical characteristics include a junction capacitance of 15 pF at 4 V and 1 MHz, a peak reverse current of 5 µA at 25°C (100 µA at 100°C), and a non-repetitive peak forward surge current rating of 30 A. The device operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and features a thermal resistance of 100°C/W junction to ambient. The part is housed in a DO-41 through-hole package with axial leads, and is supplied in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly. It is RoHS3 compliant and features a lead-free finish per the datasheet. The datasheet notes that this part is not recommended for new designs; Diodes Incorporated recommends the RS1A-RS1J series as replacements.
