The 1N4933 is a fast recovery rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor, designed for high-efficiency applications such as DC power supplies, inverters, converters, ultrasonic systems, choppers, and free wheeling diodes. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified forward current of 1A, with a non-repetitive peak surge current of 30A.
The device offers a fast reverse recovery time of 300 ns, enabling operation at frequencies up to 250 kHz. The forward voltage is 1.2V at 1A, and the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 65°C/W. The operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
