The 1N4685 is a 500mW axial-leaded Zener diode from Microchip Technology, part of the 1N4678-1N4717 series. It features a standard ±5% voltage tolerance and is housed in a DO-7 (DO-204AA) glass package. The device has a forward voltage of 1.1V at 200mA and a reverse leakage current of 7.5µA at 2V. With a power dissipation of 500mW and an operating temperature range of -65°C to 175°C, it is designed for voltage regulation in a variety of applications. The through-hole mounting with axial leads facilitates easy PCB assembly. The diode is also available in surface mount and DO-35 packages as separate product lines.
