The 1N457 is a small signal diode manufactured by On Semiconductor (onsemi). It is designed for general purpose rectification and switching applications requiring up to 200mA of average forward current. The device features a repetitive peak reverse voltage rating of 70V and a non-repetitive peak forward surge current capability of 1A (pulse width 1.0s).
Electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of 1V at 20mA, reverse leakage current of 25nA at 60V, and total capacitance of 8pF at 0V and 1MHz. The diode can dissipate up to 500mW of power and operates over a junction temperature range up to 175°C. Storage temperature range is -65°C to +200°C.
