The 1N4007GP-E3/73 is a glass passivated junction plastic rectifier diode from Vishay, designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications. It features a Superectifier structure for high reliability, low forward voltage drop of 1.1V typical at 1A, and low leakage current of 5µA maximum. The diode is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1000V and an average rectified forward current of 1A. It can handle a forward surge current of 30A for an 8.3ms sine wave. The reverse recovery time is 2µs, making it suitable for standard recovery applications. The device is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded through-hole package with matte tin plated leads, and is RoHS compliant. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C.
