The 1N4007GP-AP is a 1A, 1000V standard recovery rectifier diode from Micro Commercial Company (MCC). It features a glass passivated junction for low leakage current and high reliability. The diode is rated for an average forward current of 1A and a peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3ms half sine). The maximum forward voltage is 1.1V at 1A. The reverse recovery time is typically 2 µs under test conditions (IF=0.5A, IR=1.0A, Irr=0.25A).
Electrical characteristics include a maximum reverse leakage current of 5 µA at 25°C and 50 µA at 125°C, and a typical junction capacitance of 15 pF at 4V, 1MHz. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +175°C, and the storage temperature range is identical. Thermal resistance is 55°C/W junction-to-ambient and 20°C/W junction-to-lead.
The diode is housed in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial lead through-hole package. It is supplied in ammo pack with a standard quantity of 5000 pieces. The epoxy encapsulation meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The device is RoHS compliant with a lead-free finish. Halogen-free versions are available by adding the -HF suffix to the part number.
