The 1N4005T-G is a general purpose silicon rectifier diode from Comchip Technology, part of the 1N400x series. It is designed for standard recovery applications with a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward rectified current of 1A. The diode features a low forward voltage of 1.1V at 1A and a peak forward surge current capability of 30A, making it suitable for power supply and other rectification circuits.
The diode is packaged in a DO-41 axial lead case using transfer molded plastic with UL94V-0 flame retardant rating. It offers a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +150°C and a thermal resistance of 50°C/W from junction to ambient. The device is RoHS compliant and suitable for through-hole mounting.
The maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage is 600V, with a maximum RMS voltage of 420V and a maximum DC blocking voltage of 600V.
The average forward rectified current is 1A, and the peak forward surge current (8.3ms single half sine-wave) is 30A.
The forward voltage is 1.1V at a forward current of 1A.
The diode is available in a DO-204AL, DO-41, Axial through-hole package with axial leads.
