The 1N4004G is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for general-purpose low-power applications. It has a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified forward current of 1A. The forward voltage is 1.1V at 1A, and it can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 30A. The device operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +150°C. It is housed in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial lead package, which is through-hole mountable. The cathode is indicated by a polarity band.
