The 1N4003RLG is an axial-lead glass passivated standard recovery rectifier diode from On Semiconductor. It is designed for general-purpose low-power applications requiring a 200V peak repetitive reverse voltage and 1A average rectified forward current. The forward voltage is 1.1V at 1A, and it can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 30A. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
The diode is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial lead plastic package, weighing approximately 0.4 grams. The cathode is identified by a polarity band. The part is available in multiple packaging options: 1000 per bag, 5000 per reel (with RL suffix), or 3000 per fan-fold box (with FF suffix). Pb-Free packages are available as indicated by the /C0071 marking.
As a standard recovery rectifier with recovery time greater than 500ns at over 200mA, this device is intended for 50/60 Hz line frequency rectification and other low-speed applications. It is not suited for high-frequency switching circuits.
